Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two years of front office experience preferred in a dental setting, not required. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of dental software strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Dental Insurance preferred. 

Responsibilities

As a Patient Coordinator, you play an important role in our office and perform a wide range of responsibilities, to include:

  • Greet and check patients in and out, before and after treatment.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Verify insurance for all clinical appointments.
  • Develop and maintain doctor/hygiene schedules as necessary.
  • Answer phones
  • Send Pre-Authorizations
  • Review and follow-up with unscheduled treatment
  • Collect patient portions 
  • Sign patients up for financing 
  • Sign patients up for the Dental Savings Plan 
  • Work with Excel documents 
  • Scan forms into patient charts
  • Send referral information to other offices.
